Drawn from Life: The Ruskin Diaries, 1949-53

It has been truly an absolute pleasure to meet Steve Hurst, an artist of many talents which include not only visual arts but also the art of story telling. I am delighted to have designed the cover for the first part of his memoirs. Underneath is a photo from the book launch at the Old Fire Station in Oxford where Steve (on the left) had a talk with a fellow sculptor and ‘Ruskien’ Richard Wentworth and the book on display in Blackwell’s bookshop in Oxford.
